Financial and Operational Information System Projects

 

 

State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation (DOT)

Assisted with the RFP development and vendor selection analysis for a new financial accounting system (Oracle Financials). Malanaphy Consulting also performed quality assurance services during the implementation of the Oracle Financials system.

State of Hawaii, Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL)

Performed the technical requirements analysis and business process improvement analysis of DHHL’s Oracle financial system as part of the development of an RFP to upgrade of DHHL’s Oracle system. Malanaphy Consulting also performed project management and quality assurance services during the implementation of the Oracle system upgrade.

State of Hawaii, Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF)

Performed the technical requirements analysis and business process improvement analysis of EUTF’s PeopleSoft Human Resources and Accounts Receivables systems and developed the RFP to upgrade EUTF’s PeopleSoft system. This system handles the health and life insurance benefit administration for over 200,000 State, City and County employees, retirees and beneficiaries.

Not-For-Profit

Malanaphy Consulting performed the system implementation of the Blackbaud Financials non-profit fund accounting system and payroll system for the client.

Manufacturing Company

Malanaphy Consulting performed the requirements analysis, RFP development, software vendor selection, and software implementation of an enterprise-wide ERP system. Financial accounting functions, as well as order processing, inventory control and manufacturing scheduling and production were included within the scope of the system implementation. This project also included extensive Crystal Report development, application modifications and customization and extensive MS SQL work.

Retail Company

Performed the requirements analysis and RFP development for a new retail merchandising system. Financial accounting functions, as well as purchasing processes, and inventory control were also part of the scope of this system selection project.

Completed a gap analysis of client's financial accounting system and recommendations for interim measures to take prior to the completion of the new system selection.
